99 Margaret

Just wanted to share a bit about the sorta living conditions i'm in.

Here's my house. i live at 99 Margaret Avenue in Kitchener.

Here's where i keep my bike that i use to transport myself through rain, wind and snow. The orange one is mine. i've actually wiped out once this winter already. i will never try to make a high speed, sharp turn, going down hill again. i actually tried to bail on the turn cause i didn't think i was going to make it but i turned my wheel slightly and my bike gave out. i slid towards an oncoming car but it was going quite slow as the driver had also just made a turn, thank God! i waited for myself to stop sliding on the ground and then i got up, exchanged waves with the driver and hurried to the sidewalk with my bike.

Here is the kitchen and kitchen table. Sometimes i eat here but most of the time i bring my food to the basement where my room is. Oh. that's one of six cha siu baos that i steamed. I bought it at the super cheap frozen dim sum place that's in a warehouse where they work in the dark. Ask Julie for directions. its around kennedy and passmore. We're talking 10 for $3 cheap.

Here are the cats that live with me, the owner (Sean) and the other housemate (Marlon). They are burmese cats (a breed descended from siamese cats). These two are brothers (Caliban [not Taliban] on the left and Atticus on the right). They're basking in the sun and on top of the heat vent. Apparently, all their fight or flight survival instincts have been bred out of them. This means they're really affectionate and sleep all day and would probably starve if allowed to be an outdoor cat.

Here's the living room. Currently, its a storage area for Sean cause of the Christmas rush. Sean owns an online board game company www.germangames.com offering much cheaper prices than at stores. Check it out and let me know if you want anything. Save you some shipping.

Here's the bathroom. i haven't used the bath/jacuzzi yet though. the heat of the water is a bit tough to control. If you don't have the dexterity, you'll be stuck switching between lukewarm and burning, never being able to attain that optimal shower temperature. Ask Glendon. i don't think he ever was able to attain it. Oh yea, its the only bathroom in the house and there's no lock. If the door is closed, that means its occupied. Lots of trust my friends, lots of trust.

Here's my collection of cereal. i'm currently eating Muslix banana nut crunch with fresh bananas and 2% milk. i tried skim milk but it tastes like water. i have a bowl every night before i go to sleep.

Here's my bed where i dream about sushi and softball. I have not had sushi nor played softball in a very long time. Rumour has it, i'm playing for the lumas next year. : BAHAHAH ggs roflcopter.

Here's my computer/work area where i learn about radiation therapy, play tetrinet and listen to hockey and basketball games online because i don't have cable.

And that conlcludes the virual tour of my house.

Finally, i leave you with a challenge: do you recognize anyone in this picture? Specifically the girl on the left with the glasses and the little chinese boy on the far right with the bowl cut. hahaha.....it looks just like them present day!
