Now all that's left is a summer of studying for a 6-hour certification in September. Then it'll be one of the toughest decisions of my life where i will work.

But for now..... let's pick a logo!!!

i personally like either 11 or 12. The extra curvy "F" gives it that "babyphat" quality. Let me know which one you think should be the logo! OR if you would like to design one, that'd be awesome too!

That's right. It's true. i have assembled a cheerleading squad for the ETCBC Lions. They're called the ETCBC Felions Cheerleading Squad!

I've even taken the liberty to develop a logo that will go on the tshirts:

i know what you're thinking: How can you do this?! How are you getting away with this?! This is ridiculous! its an outrage. its unbelievable. You've set women back 50 years!

That's right. Brian, you are an absolute genius. high five!

There will be pompoms and tshirts and it will be absolutely ridiculous. i've felt that it is time for seniors to lighten up so i decided what better way for that to happen than to have cheerleaders!!!!!

i'd like to believe that it is every girl's dream to be a cheerleader. i am merely providing that dream. in fact, yes....u can even say that i am a dream maker.

Softball is huge at ETCBC. In fact, its massive. With 3 senior teams and 2 junior teams, there are more people involved with this ministry than any other. Unforunately, for those individuals that do not want to play softball or cannot commit the time to play softball, its very easy for them to become excluded. i think this would be a good way to extend the softball community to others. People can come out to support and cheer on the team without any sort of major comittment and still be invited to team events and practices.

MEC

Last Christmas, Edmond and Selina bought me a backpack from MEC that i really, really liked.













Mine is black instead of burgandy though. For those that know my tastes, i like it because it's not too busy like a lotta backpacks. It looks "clean" and has a few easily accessible pockets. Nice and compact.

Recently, the zipper on the bag broke! i think that this was a combination of me overloading it and the fact that i got a plastic bag stuck in it. But a year and a bit is still pretty weak sauce for a zipper to break down.

i knew that MEC doesn't do warranties on zippers but i went down Thursday night anyways to see what i could do. i talked to the service guy and he acknowledged that they've been having trouble with these zippers cause of the way they sew it inside out and put a teflon coating on it. He said it would cost 40 bucks to fix. i suggested that there had to be some middle ground cause it was obviously not due to wear and tear so he offered paying for half of a new bag.

i went to grab the same bag and brought it to him and he was stunned. haha. He asked if i was sure i wanted the same bag cause he couldn't do this again if the zipper broke. i said ok and went back to look for a different bag.

i met a MEC worker by the bags with a tied back pony tale and some sort of european accent. i let him know how much i liked the bag and was disappointed that the zipper broke but the rest of the bag was fine and he said he could just give me a new bag! And that is exactly what he did! This is astonishing as MEC has angered a lot of customers by refusing to do anything about damaged zippers.

i asked for his name and shook his hand. He said his name was Anabel. i swear that his nametag said David but i was too happy at the moment to ask him why he chose to go by a girl's name.

David Lui suggested that it was his streetname in order to garner streetcred. hahaha.

Moral of the story. If you need to replace your MEC bag, look for a guy named Anabel with a nametag that says David.
