Hygiene

Since i started working at the hospital, i've been much more conscious about hygiene and cleanliness. Radiation therapists have to be very conscious about keeping their equipment and hands clean because they come into contact with patients daily who may have their immune systems compromised. Even if patients do not have their immune systems compromised, not doing simple things such as washing your hands after every patient and using hand sanitizer can still lead to the spread of diseases!

Often, before i work out, i pick up a twelve grain bagel with strawberry cream cheese at Tim Horton's. i noticed something the last time i purchased a bagel and decided to watch the Timmy's worker like a hawk this time. i placed my order and the worker put on one, plastic glove on her right hand and brought my bagel over to the toaster with it. She then came back and asked me if i was charged yet. i said no and she proceeded to punch in my order with her right, gloved hand, took my money with her left, grabbed change with her right, gloved hand and handed it to me. She then turned around and picked up the two sides of my toasted bagel using her left and right hand and proceeded to spread cream cheese on it, using her left hand to hold down my bagel to make sure it stayed put.

Which incompetent Tim Horton's manager trained this incompetent Tim Horton's employee?!

i was a bit shocked and thought about saying something but i didn't. Like the manly man that i am, i ate that money flavoured bagel (Re: Spoiled blog).

The next time this happens, i'm gonna call her on it and see what she says.
